Quality Assurance Authority (QAA) organized a comprehensive workshop with various department including Irrigation, Water Supply, and Sewerage, Roads, Bridges, Building and Power (Distribution and Transmission).The workshop aimed to foster improved systems and collaborative efforts across these departments with a special focus on Quality.

QAA conducted training sessions on dated 09-10 April and 23-24 April, 2026 at Haryana Institute of Rural Development (HIRD) for recently appointed SDEs of Panchayati Raj Department, focusing on strengthening their expertise to ensure high standards of quality, efficiency and transparency in building works.
Also, the training focuses upon practical procedures to be adopted while execution of building works, selection of material and specifications keeping in view the Checklist mentioned in SOMPs for Building works. The on-site training was also given to SDEs at building of Zila Parishad, Panchayati Raj, Nilokheri and Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal to identify the shortcomings, checking of material, maintenance of various registers etc.
