Introduction

Quality Assurance Authority (QAA) of Haryana, an initiative of the Haryana government which has been entrusted with ensuring rigorous quality management and adherence to standards in engineering works across the state. Established under state government notification No. 18/07/2022-3FICW/24265 dated 04th April, 2023, QAA aims to play a critical role in defining and enforcing norms and standards for quality in construction projects and to become a pivotal institution in maintaining the quality in infrastructure projects of the State.

Our responsibilities extend to auditing engineering works undertaken by state departments and recommending best practices for internal quality assurance. We also oversee third-party quality assurance mechanisms, accrediting quality testing laboratories, conduct audits for compliance monitoring, and facilitate training to enhance quality assurance measures at all levels. QAA aims to continuously updates its guidelines and collaborates with leading research institutions to promote technological advancements and environmentally sustainable practices in civil construction.
